Charlotte Van Steyn has actively sold real estate in Columbus and Central Ohio for 34 years and has consistently been one of the area’s most successful Realtors.   She has been a licensed Realtor since 1977 and Broker since 1984.  Her areas of expertise are executive relocation and resale, as well as new construction (having been president of a premier Columbus builder’s, Bob Webb, real estate company for ten years).

Committed to excellence, Charlotte has helped over 2,500 families relocate in Central Ohio.  Her astute negotiating skills and attention to details help ensure that her clients will obtain the best home, for the best price.  Her background as a former Math educator has been an asset in assisting her clients with the mortgage process.

Charlotte is the Broker and Co-Owner of four RE/MAX Premier Choice offices in the Columbus Metro area.  Charlotte received the 2004 Small Business Person of the Year award from the Worthington Area Chamber of Commerce. In addition to being a member of the Columbus Board of Realtors (CBR) TWENTY-FIVE MILLION DOLLAR CLUB.  She became in 2005 a charter member of CBR’s Lifetime Achievement Award.  She was recognized by RE/MAX International as a member of the HALL OF FAME CLUB, the RE/MAX PLATINUM CLUB, and in 2005 received the RE/MAX LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD.

Charlotte served as President of the CBR (a 7000+ member organization which is #1 in the State of Ohio and the 9h largest Board of Realtors in the United States).  She was CBR Trustee for nine years and an Officer for six years.  She has also been an Ohio Association of Realtors’ Trustee for twenty years.   Charlotte received the Ohio Association of Realtors DISTINGUISHED SERVICE AWARD for 2004.

She was involved in the formation of and is active in ‘Partners for Citizenship and Character’, an organization whose mission is to facilitate the teaching of universal values to young people within our schools and community, and remains on the trustee board of that group.

A former educator, Charlotte is a graduate of New York University with an Associate of Science Degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics.
